  1. PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP – Tailored for large-scale event management companies, production houses, and corporate event management firms with national or regional operations.
  2. GOLD MEMBERSHIP – Designed for established mid-sized businesses and professional event planners looking to grow their brand.
  3. SILVER MEMBERSHIP – Ideal for freelancers, small businesses, and startups entering the Kenya events industry.

PLATINUM CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

Eligibility Criteria

Must meet any three (3) of the following criteria:

  • Must be a legally registered entity in Kenya
  • Employs 20+ full-time staff or has an annual turnover exceeding Kshs 50 million
  • Has been in continuous operation for over 5 years
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering 5+ major events for multinational or large-scale clients

GOLD CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a legally registered business entity
  • Employs 10–20 staff or has an annual turnover of Kshs 25 million – 50 million
  • At least 3 years of operation
    Proven experience managing 3+ large-scale or corporate events
  • Must meet any three (3) of the above criteria
  • Must sign
  • EMAK Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics.

Membership Fees

  • Registration fees (one-off): Kshs 50,000
  • Annual Subscription: Kshs 25,000
 

SILVER CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a legally registered organization
  • Employs 3–10 people or has an annual turnover above Kshs. 5 million
  • Minimum 3 years of operational history
  • Delivered at least 3 major events for mid- to large-size clients
  • Must meet any three (3) of the above criteria
  • Commitment to EMAK Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics.

Membership Fees

  • Registration fees (one-off): Kshs. 25,000
  • Annual Subscription: Kshs 12,500

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION FOR REGISTRATION

  • A completed and signed membership application form
  • Copy of business registration certificate
  • Copy of a valid KRA PIN certificate
  • Current CR12
  • Copy of valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC)
  • Copy of applicant’s National ID
  • KRA PIN certificates for all directors
  • Passport-size photographs of all directors
  • ID copies of all directors listed on CR12
  • Copy of the latest audited financial statements
  • Recommendation letters from three (3) major clients

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  • Open Enrollment: Membership applications are accepted year-round.
  • Upgrading Membership: Members may apply to move to a higher tier (e.g., Silver to Gold). Downgrades will only be considered under exceptional circumstances upon approval by the Legal & Administration Committee.
  • Submit updated documentation for vetting.
  • Top-up any registration and subscription fee difference.
  • Annual Membership Cycle: Membership runs on a calendar year basis (January to December).
  • Code of Conduct: All members must submit a signed Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics upon joining.
  • Flexible Payments: Fees can be paid in full or in installments, which must be cleared within three (3) months. Membership documents will be issued only after full payment.
